Hello, and welcome to Vegetable Planting where we would like to share with you our successes and failures of growing vegetables in the home garden.

Vegetable gardening can be a tremendous source of enjoyment both from the growing and eating point of view . There is nothing more satisfying than to go down the garden to pick veggies for your evening meal or for sharing excess produce with family and friends, not forgetting those pesky unwanted pests!

We have been keen gardeners for many years and I guess it is only since we have retired that we have really had the opportunity to spend much more time in the garden. Of course we make mistakes but hopefully we will all learn from these.

We have recently moved to a new property where we are starting our vegetable garden from scratch so to speak so we hope that you will come along to see how we are going and that you will be keen to get digging.
